Building Responsibility, Equality And Dignity

B.R.E.A.D. Rises!!!

Upcoming Events:
House meetings! House meetings for our Listening Process will take place in congregations involved with BREAD during September and October. This is the first step that we take each year as congregations build and strengthen relationships, surface community problems, and invite others to join the justice efforts in the congregation. There will be a special training for Team Members hosting house meetings on September 17th. Contact the BREAD office for more details.

Restorative Practices Summit on Thursday, November 1st! Our Juvenile Justice committee will be hosting a community summit to educate the wider community on how we can transform and restore our city!  Mixer at 5:30 pm and program begins at 6:00 pm. Location TBA.

Annual Assembly on Monday, November 12th, at 7:00 pm! We'll celebrate progress that has taken place over the summer, hear a report from the house meetings, hear testimonies from BREAD members, and choose the focus for the upcoming year. All Network Members, Team Members, and clergy should be in attendance. Location: Christ the King Catholic Church (2777 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43209).

Research Kickoff on Monday, December 10th, at 7:00 pm! Curious about BREAD's research process and want to learn how to get involved? This event will give an overview of the research process and give those in attendance the opportunity to learn more about our current research committees. *Note: you must be a Network Member, Team Member, or clergy member to get involved with one of the research committees. Location: Christ UMC (1480 Zettler Rd., Columbus, OH 43227).
